Quite a number of 031 on eBay showing compatibility on pretty much all model years.. I don't expect too many wrecked '18s at this point. This is a good sign. Still looks like 040 for '14+ is the one you want. Of course the first installer of this module will need to confirm for all of us.

Foreign market only so they don't sell this one.
EDIT: I sent an inquiry off to Motor Heads Japan about availability of the Prado switch. For those that are interested in that path they may have a better price and their shipping costs are low. I'm not sure if this is correct or not but I thought I read in one of the RU threads that MTS and Crawl aren't available on the Prado in Japan so it might be one of those parts that isn't available from this vendor.

That makes sense. The 010, 020, 031, 040, etc. are "Drive Support Switch ECU" which connects to Drive Support ECU. For US spec GX, the Driver support package does not have MTS, therefore, the Drive Support Switch EUC should be the same, '10 to '13 uses 010 and '14+ uses 031. If Canadian members here with Technology or Executive Package on '14+ maybe able to verify if their Drive Support Switch ECU is 040, since those packages include MTS.

That would definitely seal it on the 040 if a Canadian member with one of the above packages could chime in.

Something to think about if you aren't comfortable doing the zero point calibration or steps aren't working for you. I can't imagine it being more than an hour of labor but you could request them to do a zero point calibration. A Toyota dealer or independent would likely be a lot cheaper. I've seen some state on 4Runner forums they do this after lifts and other off-road mods if they perceive stability control is kicking in too much. If they ask you why... you could always say "Piece of mind" :-)
Word of warning... I believe if the calibration is erased and you are not successful with reset it would leave the vehicle's stability control and ABS in a deactivated limp mode. I'm not positive but I believe that to be the case. If unsuccessful you need to erase and try the calibration again.

Acrad, can you post the steps for zero calibration using TechStream? Do you happen to have any screenshots too? Thanks.

I got the message from the supplier I ordered 2 from that they are on back order with Lexus and there are NONE in the US.
I cancelled my order.

oemvehicleparts.com confirmed for me that 040 is what is being used in '14+ Canadian trims with Technology or Executive packages.
They seem to be very knowledgeable and responsive.
