Default Module for MTS - question

I've looked for the standard module the 859A1-60040 that others have used and cannot find it other than new right now. I did find an 859A1-60051 that new, costs less than the 60040. Does anyone have any experience with this module or anywhere to get definitive information on it?

That is used in LC Prado models and connector is not the same.

Example:

Just to show connector type here is the 030 that is replaced with 040 so you can see connector

I can't remember anyone getting an 040 recently from overseas. Frankly... I think the following is cheapest if you use the CLUBLEXUS shipping code

https://www.oemvehicleparts.com/oem-...-su-859a160040

You may want to go to checkouts of various sites and compare. The 10-13 (using 020) have the advantage of using the same MTS module as 10-13 Prados so it can be obtained directly from Japan for $150 or less.

Mine is a 15 so I guess I will hunt a bit. This was a target of opportunity so I wanted to jump on it. I have several other things to do first:

I have 3 of my 5 wheels the remaining are held up in shipping importing by COVID delays
Can't do new tires until I get wheels
Can't measure garage fitment for rack until I get wheels/tires

Starting to gather lighting and doing wiring. I used a Switch Pro 9100 on my Jeep for lights and accessories and liked it so I will likely do the same on the 460. The shopping, install, and wiring might keep my mind off of the wait for tires and wheels. But reality is I'm hating staying close to home due to street tires that I worry about in sand or rough terrain.

Looks like I'm the first '17 Premium to add MTC&CC - What do I win?

Thank you to everyone that has contributed to the thread! Can't wait to try it out for real

Glad I could help.
Now that I have my newly acquired features i can't wait to take my PREDATOR offroad 😁

I've been looking at some AT tires and I'm seeing that many people like the KO2's, they seem to also be very popular in Australia and New Zealand. If those guys from down under approve then I'm inclined to go for a set.
I'll check out our local forums for more input.

Anyways i hope everyone stays safe in the gulf coast these next few days, I'm worried it'll be a bad one.

Cheers

I'm thinking that can be especially dangerous if one of them is wearing one of those sheets and it gets caught in something 😁

I’m going to order the MTS module and want to confirm that the 859A1-60040 is still the current part number used for a ‘19 gx460 without AVS. I have two buttons on the center console DAC and 4wd switch.

That’s the correct part number for MTS that hides behind the glovebox..

Are you looking to add crawl control as well? Part number is 84970-60090 for non air suspension models.

Where are you ordering from?

I’m not going to add crawl at this time. I was going to order from One of the sites listed in this thread. I think oemvehicleparts has a shipping discount. I’ll have to page through to find it.
