With no codes presented it is anyones guess.
- You could try power cycling the suspension ECU under the dash
- If you are noticing height differences this could be KDSS lean as well
- What are your tires running at? When was the last time you checked and noticeable difference in temperature between the work you did on vehicle and road test
- All those active Techstream tests listed above are supposed to confirm that system is working properly and within spec
- Only thing I have seen is the ECU registration process which I think you already did above... this just registers the ECU and I don't see any documented calibration info

I felt this ride quality difference after this.

Sorry.. I can't think of anything else
Part of the Techstream active tests listed above allow you to test the switches as well.
... unless you have a defective switch that is maintaining a contact the suspension related switches are momentary so a switch swap in regards to AVS or RAHC switching shouldn't make a difference.
Did you ever test to see if ON/OFF for RAHC worked? It cancels above speed but no idea if button held in would create an issue.
With Techstream you could see if AVS switch was correctly registering between Sport, Comfort and Normal as well.
I can't say on swapping that live with engine running. No one has reported trying to do that before.

Update:
I used techstream to see the datalist. All are looking good. no fault diagnostic code. only thing i have doubt is when i clicked hi lo height mode off, I do not see any changes. but i can see in driver dash. any way that switch works only when the car is stationary.
TS records all the modes i changed. my tire pressure is 33 psi. I will now call it as a successful installation.
: to double check, I let my wife drive the car. And she certified that she did not see any difference. So I am good
Thanks Acrad for your immediate responses and knowledge base.

Good to hear.
I think on that On/Off suspension switch.. I'd call it good if it is showing up with OFF on suspension indicator on dash and you can toggle it on & off.

i have sold my GX and trying to unload my crawl switch (84970-60070) and it looks like the price has almost doubled since this thread was started. are you all seeing the same pricing?

Any 2020-2021 Luxury owners without "Off-Road" package open to some vehicle experimentation?
• 22 owners... need to confirm '20-'21 first. PNs still aren't clear for the dash as of 1.30.22.
•••This is all at your own risk and potentially could require even more work, parts, and money.
Vlad at post #403 bought the switch for his '21 Luxury and like eNx (here at ClubLexus) discovered it didn't work either but wiring is there.
https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/460.../post-14032370
It really points to the Skid Control ECU as the next replacement step. At this point it will be easier to determine if this can be done on a Luxury because all of the wiring is apparently there. We can look at other trims once this config is confirmed.
Long story short I submitted two VINs for skid control ECUs to Bell Lexus
One for a '21 Premium and the other for a '21 Luxury with off-road package
Premium takes - 47217-60760
Luxury w/off-road package takes- 47217-60690
There are not any in US but perhaps Canada has some?
47217-60690 is a $1k ECU

One would also want to pick up that crawl control switch for 20-21 models

Apparently you can't even order this PN right now - 84970-60450
Order will be cancelled once availability is established

There were also multiple skid ECU part numbers on the older GX460s but ultimately all of them supported the crawl control functionality even though they were listed as having that feature. I have a feeling this is the same for the 20-21.

It would have to be something further upstream if this ECU swap is not key. MTS ECU disappeared after ‘19. 20-21 FSMs all point diagnostic failure to skid control ECU if system malfunctions.
