as long as you trust the source, why not.

The Crawl switch will be obvious but make sure you aren't purchasing someone's old non-MTS switch either.

Remember last number need to be a 020 and not a 010 for a 2010-2013

bought my CC from ebay. Installed it using that youtube video as a guide, zero-calibrated it using the paper clip technique shown in the video, and it lights up the CC as expected on the screen. I have yet to actually test it on actual off road though.

The cheapest 020 for 10-13 models is most likely this site at around $152 .

https://www.parts-sale.jp/TOYOTA%208...ch=859A1-60020

Shipping charges here

The 020 was used on Prado in Japan so they can sell it... '14-'19 wasn't same unit and was not used on Prados so they cannot sell if not a JDM part.

Please correct me if I am wrong. PN: 84970-60070 CC for adjustable shocks/rear air bag models can be used on a non-AVS/RAHC model right? Just that top row switches are non-functional.

It can definitely be used on those models.

You can also use 84970-60090 which doesn't have the upper toggle switches

could just use a simple switch and put it wherever you like. two wires are all that are really necessary if you want the most basic, least expensive.

Angry Hazard light flashing continuously after MTS install

I installed MTS module and decided to reconnect car battery before put shifter & crawl control panel back. I will be doing more wiring works (360 camera, 2nd row USB and etc) so the shifter panel needs to be disconnected for now. The hazard light start flashing immediately after the battery is connected. It can't be turned off using the switch. The only way to disable it is disconnect the car battery.

Does anyone know if the hazard light is triggered by absent of shifter & crawl control panel? Or it indicates something else is not connected properly, like passenger airbag and sensor?

I don't recall this symptom before regardless of mod. I'll look around.

Just some reference pictures of the DAC/4WD controls from a '22-'23 model. If I see one with crawl/mts will post as well

Default Whats happening with my CRAWL CONTROL?

I just bought my 2015 GX, and I wanted to test the four-wheel drive. I found an empty parking lot and put it in 4LO and drove it slowly. I then wanted to see what the CRAWL CONTROL could do so I engaged it, and as soon as I let off the brake pedal, it started stuttering badly. It sounded like the ABS trying to stop all the wheels at once.

Am I doing something wrong? No matter what speed I put the CRAWL CONTROL in, it would studder and make tons of noise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Try it off-road or on wet grass. There’s nothing smooth about crawl control, sounds like could be operating normally for dry pavement

Thanks,
It is normal behavior on dry flat surface. As you adjust crawl speed such “stuttering” pattern will change as well. Just think the crawl is a low speed cruise control, it utilizes throttle, ABS, to control the output torque and speeds.

I changed the crawl speed and it didn't change the studdering at all. I couldn't go 3 inches, the car completely locks up.
