Not any noticeable wind noise with normal driving even at freeway speed but you will hear a bit of it if there's crosswind like NewB2Lexus mentioned. It's definitely quieter than my old Yakima round bars.
@NewB2Lexus, what kind of ski rack do you have? I have a Yakima Big Hound with their round bar mount and want to put it on the GX but not sure which mount will fit the bars. Any picture of your ski rack?

I just have a basic universal Thule I bought many years ago that can hold up to 5 skis. There are ones that can slide out for easier access but I'm a bit old school and just like to put into place myself :-).

Thank you!

I didn't pay heed to the tool when I first saw it but the way you explained it, made sense. I went back today and tried it again. Found out that none of the screws were as tight as they should have been!

Appreciate the help!

Thanks!

In tightening the bars with the tool ,I realized that 8 Nm is much tighter than I thought it would be.
