It would be good data point to know what the troubled owners can report what the GX reported in fuel range left. I have only pushed mine down to 80mi left but can't recall what the gauge indicated at that point. Also if only the earlier 10-13 years are affected.

PN for '10-'19 fuel gauge sender unit: 83320-60620

replaced 83320-60520... it would appear that this might be a '10-'14/'15 issue..when looking at Google PN searches.

Some hits on 4R as well.

I've reached out to Matt @ OEMVehicleParts (mattparts) if he can confirm when 60620 became available in the parts systems.

While you can't extract the fuel pump through the access panel shown here

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...fuel-pump.html

Perhaps the separate sender unit could be serviced through this hole without the need to drop the fuel tank?

Matt's parts guy said 60620 showed up in the system 1/2015 so possible to assume this issue could affect up to 2015s built into early January 2015.

If you do have to replace the fuel pump, sender unit or need to drop the tank instructions are attached. Looks like you can also do an active TS test to help drain the fuel tank:

=====================
  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the Fuel Pump /
    Speed.
  2. Operate the fuel pump and drain the fuel from the fuel tank main tube
