Thats an industry wide metric from luxury to economy and everything in between. Its why dealers specifically state that once your in the chair, your probably leaving with a car.

anecdote of one but I specifically only looked at a 2020 or 2021 model year because of the safety features finally becoming standard. Although I didn’t upgrade from a prior GX. this is my first GX

The standard safety kit, albeit not as great as say the others in the Lexus pool, is a big factor. Big enough to make sales associates vomit it every single time I come into the service bay...

This thing ages like fine wine. The older it gets, the more "desirable" it is. It will most likely have its 3rd best sales yr ever, during a pandemic and a massive recession. Why Lexus wants to discontinue this is beyond stupid.

Having seen November's numbers decline whats your take @mike995134 on the 4k vs 2.5k debate?

I haven't seen a December to Remember like this one from Lexus. Pretty much all models are 0% APR. My brother in law just helped a friend bought a 2021 Premium for $49900, MSRP was $56700 (not $58700 as originally posted). Really good price for the Bay Area.

One of the reasons why I bought my GX was because it was constantly in someone's Top 5 or Top 10 used vehicles to buy. Plus, if you do any Google or Youtube search, it shows up in mostly positive ways.

Looking at the sales data mid month, and the end of Nov was the peak of GX sales (700+ sales/week), which is continuing every week this month as well. I`m betting it hits the 3k mark to end 2020 stronger then ever.
