Quick, buy one before the reliable V8s get replaced with questionable (maybe) new stuff!!!
So true. I got mine last month. 2021 off the dealer lot in Roswell (ATL). I couldnt agree more. Wrecked the sequoia and went with the GX because of the engine reliability. Its a beast that will last forever. Until your 16 year old son wrecks it. Engine is awesome. Hope they dont screw that up and try to "modernize" it with a bunch of worthless BS. Keep it as is. I feel a little dirty driving a NEW vehicle that gets less than 15mph around town. LOL
It's the perfect storm of chips shortages + pandemic + government handouts that has resulted in a crazy car market. We'll probably never know how many purchased a GX as it was their only option. I wonder if they will have a December to Remember sale/incentive this year?
How did Toyota/Lexus manage to have record sales with all the current shortages?

Plus, I imagine that the chips that they do have now will go into the higher margin autos, like the GX.

I forgot where I've seen it but I think they've already mentioned that these will go to the trucks they manufacture here. The new Tundra being one of them. Again, I'm not 100% on this so don't quote me on it.
