Just the fronts light up and they should both be on. Not sure if LED is serviceable... one may need to solder in a new one if bulb is actually out.

Hi,
Was the illuminated door sill part of the premium GX or do all the 2nd generation illuminate? I just bought a used 2013 last Dec with 75k miles and neither sill has ever lite up. Pulled off the drivers door sill to replace it due to multiple dents and I don't see any led or bulb of any kind although there's a plug I had to undo. Please see attachment. Is this some type of light or just a terminator?
I appreciate any help with this!

EDIT: Probably the plug to add them.

Plastic blank. I pulled up my door sills and didn't notice that but I was not looking for it.

All you people punching up all these gadgets and trinkets that are only on the Premium models are depressing me. JK

I know this is an old thread but is basic connector there with the terminator plug above on all non-equipped models?
My memory on this is a little cloudy. It seems from early posts that all 10-13 have connector but only the "equipped" '14+ Luxury have connector.

I removed my driver's door sill to remove a piece of Weathertech window visor that had broken off and fallen in there --I was afraid of rattling so it was important that I remove it. I did NOT see any connectors, just a loom that was neatly wrapped/taped. I slightly damaged the scuff plate itself and was considering replacing it with illuminated ones. The metal part separated from the plastic (one plastic tab had broken off), had 4 small dents, etc. I'll just leave it on until there are more dents and scratches and I'll take a look again. The truck is still too brand new.

Both front door sills seem to have a connector that connects to the factory unlit sill plates. Does this mean both of my doors have the capability of illuminated door sill plates? If so do they make rear illuminated sills I could wire up to the door open sensor button or interior dome light?

Can you take a meter to what is there to see if you have 12V?

No idea on the rear sill plates... let us know what you find out.

It should be easy to wire up but not sure about all being pre-wired…. OP back in ‘13 didn’t find connectors on their ‘14 Premium
