Normally you don't want anything major happening to your car but this is the one that each time I start the car I always wish my dash does the christmas light dance so lexus can take of it before the warranty expires. I'm kind bump that nothing happens. Lol
Yeah I dropped it earlier driving the RX around they didn't have anything bigger then this. Still waiting for the update from them for the diagnosis.
You may experience what I did. No phone call about the problem. Just a phone call to say they fixed it and you can pick it up. Entire secondary system replaced on mine.

Yeah no call all day today usually they call and tell us what's the problem. Probably that's what they are doing.
Update - they did as you guys suggested replaced entire secondary system under extended warranty program. They did notice leak on the CV boot on the right front and recommended to change the boot kit for 650$. Which I’m gonna get the kit and let my local guy put it on for a lot cheaper. One more question do I pay the diagnostic fee of 99$ when I pick it back up.
Instead of changing the boot it is about as cheap today to replace the entire CV Axle. Parts are usually less than $100. I've only ever repaired one boot before on an ATV.
Not sure on the diagnostic fee... usually those have been covered for me on vehicles over the year if it ended up with a warranty repair occurring.

Yeap they were charging me the 99.99 diagnostics but I called Lexus corporate and told them it’s not my fault the truck has this problem so as a goodwill gesture they took care of it for me. No matter what anyone says Lexus is the best when it comes to customer service.
I was thinking to repair the CV boot since it’s the original part compared to the aftermarket you showed me. Or maybe I’ll just keep driving it like that and replace the part once the grease is completely out.

True... no idea how good or bad the aftermarket axles are. Like everything probably all over the place for quality. Looks like a new OEM is $350-$400.
Just a FYI Dallasguy1. This is what I see on my iPhone, iPad and Windows PC. I guess it is an emoji that is not recognized. Same results on last posts from you as well. Samsung phone?
