This guy has got to be my favorite automobile reviewer. I love that he addresses hand pie and Twinkie stowage @ 9:53 and 19:54, a key feature that other reviewers often overlook.

Really surprised he's selling his GX - especially for a 4th Gen 4R.

I never get this guy. All he seems to value is 'new' - does he just throw away all of his appliances/furniture after a couple of years? GX isn't for everyone, and I bought ours used for many of the reason he gives - but this guy just can't get why someone wouldn't prioritize new tech/infotainment. Preferring a Palisade, or GV80 or whatever, I totally get. But thinking a 4runner is a better buy just bc of carplay/android?

On GXOR he had commented that he gets 2-3 press vehicles per week and didn't drive his personal car often and got a great deal on the 4R. With GX prices the way they are now I would say it is a good opportunist move! Topher's vids were really helpful to me when I made my purchase.

Agreed - the 4Runner isn't a better buy because of its info-tech. Pretty sure he did the '20 GX, so I'm not sure what the point is w/ a '21.

On the other hand... Savage Geese completely sold me on the GX.

SavageGeese totally gets it. What I appreciate most about his reviews is his capacity to step outside of his own tastes/wants, and put himself in the place of those for whom the car/truck might make sense. So while he personally wouldn't want the GX or Escalade or whatever, he can still take the perspective of a potential buyer of that car and ask if it would likely satisfy them.

Not that it matters but noticed it is actually a 2020 and not 2021 model.. RSES isn't available after 2020.

Me too and especially since he did a comparison video of a newer 4Runner to his GX and clearly came away with the opinion that the GX was the better vehicle for his needs. Given the market, maybe it was just a cash grab for him and/or time to move on to something different? The used vehicle market is crazy high now so it sort of makes sense to sell if you don't have a need to hold onto an existing vehicle.

NOW this guy DRIVES ME NUTS... I mean he even talks about the plastic "chrome" engine cover. Whenever I start to get tired and annoyed w/ Doug DeMuro... I need only watch Raiti's Rides
- in my book - he's a big ZONK!

Yea I dont watch his reviews. He tries very hard to find negatives. I can fit 7 in my GX comfortably, although none of us are over 5'9". If he just takes the time to adjust the seats, like a good reviewer would have done, he will see that smaller folks like him can fit in the 3rd row comfortably.
