GX460 Reviews

I don't think it was mentioned so maybe Tommy isn't aware that when in low, the GX has auto A-trac (I think under 5 miles per hour or something). So both 4Runner and GX have A-Trac but with 4runner you select when to activate it.

I think he did mention it at the beginning, something like you have to push a button in the 4Runner but it's auto in the GX

coming from an 07 GX470 I really like our 17 GX460 Luxury. I must be the target consumer for Lexus, because I really don't understand what all the fuss is about regarding the interior and technology being behind the times. I think it looks great, and it does what it is supposed to do to let you drive w/o issue. Towing with it next weekend, hoping the extra gear will result in better fuel economy then our 07.

A fully loaded with features added to a ‘13 Premium below would be $71,649 (2013) which is inflation adjusted at $94,628.28 (2023)
Packages: NL, PA, RI, TC, ZA, Z3
My ‘12 would be $63,515 (2012) and $85,114 (2023)

Owner review of GX460 Lux vs Prado Kakadu. I always wondered how different the 460 was from the top trim Prado (Kakadu). Also note that rear locker has always been available as part of the last gen Prado/J150 platform. So the inclusion of the rear locker in the Overtrail 550 is more about trim marketing per geo by Toyota than it is a reflection of any new capabilities in the new J250 platform.
