Compromised steering and ride quality: Well Duh, its a body on frame 5000 lbs truck with real off road chops. If you don’t want or need that, don’t buy it.
Noisy Mechanical fan: True, only an issue at start up. Strong, smooth powerful V8 needs a good fan. If you don’t like it, get some turbo’d crossover thing on sale from all the other makers
Not terrible telescopic telescopic wheel: It’s just fine for me, don’t really know what he’s talking about here.

It`s like he had to look hard for reasons to populate that dislike list lol. Noisy Fan, really, the RX`s cabin noise is louder then the GX, and thats got a silent fan lol

To be fair though, his review is like most reviews out there and there general distaste for BOF SUVs in a market full of Very good Luxury CUVs. Its the golden ticket these days BOF replacement with CUV platform, means increased interior volume, fuel economy, and car like handling.

As for the steering, it's a truck. The only time the tight steering bugged me would be trying to turn the wheel with one hand (wax on, wax off). The ride quality to me was superb. I always had the suspension in Sport mode and it had the smoothest ride of any vehicle I've ever owned.

The fan noise...whatever, it's "loud" for like 5 seconds after start-up, never to be heard again. Sounds like all other trucks I hear on the road.

I never had any problem with the telescopic feature. Can't remember how far out I had it, but I was able to reach the wheel and the pedals at the same time!!

I actually think the steering is really light, especially compared to my previous car. I can easily turn the wheel with a single finger.

Nothing is perfect. Overall this review is true. He has to point out some shorts as a reviewer. And, this BOF truck is difficult for anyone to have full understanding in a couple of days.

But, it is NOT the noise, I believe that the starting growl is intentionally designed by Lexus.

Might have been the combination of leather and wood on my steering wheel making the one-handed click to click steering difficult. This was really only an issue at home each day when I would back my vehicle into the garage.

The fact that we're even disagreeing on the steering just shows how asinine the reviewer's list of "cons" were.
