Standard on '10-'13 Premium but looks like you could get power folding mirrors on '10-'13 base if Convenience Package was added.

Looking at brochures I see base could get power folding as a standalone option on '14-'15

2018 base with Premium and sport design package.

On my car's spec sheet, it shows Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert Power retracting / auto-dimming outer mirrors option is included at no cost. This is an individual free option outside premium and sport design package.

Yeah... I didn't look in further years and my bad query on formatting in newer brochures made me think otherwise. . It does appear you can get this as a standalone option on all '14+ years according to brochures.

For those unsure...if you don't have a mirror switch that looks like this the auto-folding OBD module will not work for you

I never played with my switch until now. I don’t have the symbols printed on the top but it does click when I toggle back and forth so it seems to at least be a standard switch on my base model.

Looks like they used the same non-power folding switch in the '10-'12 HS 250h

The OBD module option discussed in the link will do that.

Of course grid says it doesn't fold mirrors on a Prado...

I think on the Prado videos I've seen the entire switch was replaced so GX may be different animal.

this could end up being a big fail too but willing to experiment. :-)

I did order mine through your link and got one with "GX" letters on it.... Then I tried to plug it in.... guess what... It didn't work for me with the folding/unfolding outside mirror instead it will roll all four windows up if they're down... What should I do with it? Is yours plug n play one? How did you set it up?

I got mine from the same seller and works nicely with folding mirror. What year and trim is your GX? It will not fold mirrors for 14+ base models.

Got the Alibaba model the other day (asked the seller to program not to trigger flashers). Works well, very pleased.
