When I asked the seller, he said "well, it's for Prado Landcruiser" which I think our GXs are. So, maybe I read it wrong? Return it? there's no "Trick" to these right? just plug it in?

thanks
The chart at that link above shows a table with a couple of rows where it does everything except the mirrors. Which year is your GX?

This one worked for me, 2012GX

It works with the inside lock button when pushed after the steering wheel stops moving in.

Did you check if it rolls up the windows as well when locked? I have this one for my 2016 and it auto rolls 4 windows up when locking the door along with folding mirror. It also rolls down the windows when unlocking if I keep the unlock button pressed on the remote.

All 4 windows plus the sunroof open when you hold down the "unlock" button on the fob. Holding the "lock" button on the fob rolls up all the windows but leaves the sunroof open. This is pretty much in line with what other people have seen.

The only time I'd do the remote window down would be walking out to the car on a hot day, so don't care that the sunroof opens only.

This may have been mentioned in earlier posts, so if it was I will just re-iterate what's been said already for those who missed it like myself lol....was messing with friend's techstream on my gx last night and all windows down plus sunroof is there without need for the ODB addon. However that's all it can do from the time I've spent with it, won't auto fold mirrors or roll windows back up.

Correct. That can be programmed with TS but you can't program "remote" auto window close with TS. The OBD module will perform that function in addition to folding mirrors.

Ordered the WINSGO OBD module from AliExpress yesterday. I requested they disable the hazard light flashing while doors are open feature. This seems like the easiest solution to get auto-folding mirrors for now. Thanks for the info.

Not to bring this back from the dead. But, I just ordered the OBD module from Aliexpress. I didn’t ask for anything different. I like all the features on this. I guess I’ll have it in a month or so.

Thanks for the help @hzhao

Do you have the link to that OBD module from Aliexpress? I couldn't find it. Thanks in advance. And does this module work on other Lexus like 2015 GS350?

Looking for some clarification on the Winsgo module before I put my oder in.

Do the windows automatically roll up with one click of the lock button on the remote without holding the button down? Meaning, you could never leave your windows rolled down while the vehicle is locked with the remote?

Or do you hold the lock button down and the windows (minus the sunroof) then roll up? - Similar to the TS customization function for rolling windows down while holding the unlock button on the remote?

Good point, I never thought about leaving the windows open but the doors locked. On my Winsgo the windows roll up (and mirrors fold) as soon as you click the lock button on the remote or the dimples on the door handle. Holding the lock button isn’t necessary to roll up windows or fold the mirrors.

I guess if we want to lock the car with the windows down we would have to remove the module.

We’ve had ours for a couple of months and it still works great. We requested the flashing lights delete.

You could put an ON/OFF switch on the module if you want to make it a little easier.
