I am assuming a device like this on eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/15427737964...MAAOSwOwZf-riU - given that you guys have been testing them for years now, is safe and recommended to use if you want the mirror and window functionality? Or are there multiples places to get them now and you are getting different quality items? Thanks! I have a 2018 Premium.

Does this device drains out the battery ? Just a stupid question. The reason im asking is because windows will roll up if pressed Lock.

No it won’t. I never use the window feature but I love the mirror folding. Why it didn’t come standard from factory like my wife’s LS460 is beyond me.

well, it's pretty clear they sell a pre and post facelift version (2010 - 2019 vs 2020+). It's amazon so you could order both and send back the one that doesn't work I guess

I have no problems with it taking up my ODB2 port in my 2010

You could probably leverage a Pre-Crash switch with a custom label as well.

Is that a custom sticker on switch for "AUTO FOLD"

When I look up that PN I am seeing an Avalon trunk opener cancel button

Yes, custom label, just used a label printer.

BTW: the way this harness is designed, one red wire passes the power through, so your regular components work as well. When you modify the power, you have to let the power flow through to the female harness and only interrupt the one that goes into the module.

It is also the same switch used for GX with Driver Support Package for disable the PCA (Pre-Collison Alert).

I bought the 2020+ version and it worked fine plugged directly into my 2011 OBD2.

I haven’t taken the steering wheel apart to see if the wire harness also included will also work but I think it will.
