So I noticed that mine does that too. It also triggers the alarm if I unlock the door. I wonder if you found a work around of the alarm if the car was in remote start and hasn't lapsed the 10 minutes. I usually just do 5 minutes before getting into the car so I would love to know if there was a work around for this.

I am not aware of a fix, not sure if there's a way to report this to the company that makes it.. I wired mine via a switch, so I can turn it off, and I mostly keep OFF now.

I don't use remote start, so haven't had any issues with the auto folding module, works every time.

Instead of plugging it directly to the OBD I went and installed it right underneath the steering wheel like the video in the link here
I just got one today and it took all of the 10minutes to install on my '22 GX
Works as promised
The hard part was getting the steering column trim back on

It looks like there is an option in the settings ( dealer activation) than can be executed to roll the windows up/down and open/close the side mirrors. The mirrors need to have the open close manual option already
I called the dealer and he said it would be 100 bucks to activate the window feature. !&*@
Does anyone have the code and or software needed to be able to turn this feature on ?

I'm considering the Forten Kingdom 20-22 unit from post #320 for my '23 GX. Is it still causing the alarm to go off after the 10-minute remote start timer expires? I don't use remote start often, but that would be a pain.

Also, since the unit for the newer models add a physical interface for the module (the thing that looks like an OBDII port), does that mean the OEM OBDII port still functions normally?

did it work without the on/off dash switch?

I have had this one installed for about three months now. File this as the best $30 mod for the GX, right before the LED interior light upgrade. No battery drain, and awesome peace of mind knowing if I can see my mirrors folded from across the parking lot (or from our security cameras), the doors are locked.

Those are great. If it makes your windows roll down and roof open automatically, even in the rain, you’ll need to use TechStream to go in and reprogram the vehicle so that just the mirrors work with that.

My windows only roll down if I tap unlock on the remote three times. I guess you might need to jump into TechStream if those are the results you are getting.

Did you install this? If so, any issue? I want to install on my 23 as well.

Thanks for your time!

Ordered the 'WINSGO' one from AliExpress in Mar. Was on sale for $25, and there was a $4 coupon - so $21 with free shipping.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2251832643043428.html

Took 18 days for delivery. Installed it immediately in my 2019 GX, its been a month now and it has been working great. No issues. Probably the easiest & cheapest upgrade on the GX.
- Mirrors unfold on unlock
- Clicking unlock quickly 3 times in a row rolls down all windows
- Pressing and holding the unlock for a few seconds rolls down all windows & opens the sunroof
- Mirrors fold & all windows roll-up on lock. But sunroof, if open, does not close.

I wish there was a way to make it close the sunroof on lock. If anyone knows how it can be done, please tell. I guess there should be some option in TechStream to set that option.
