Hi, long time lurker, just registered.
My wife has a white 2010 IS with the black leather and it still looks like new. And it is not any hotter than any other leather color in the Texas heat. I know technically it is, but you can't tell. It's either hot or not. And with the ventilated seats (wife calls it butt conditioning) it's perfectly comfortable.
I'm about to take delivery of a Black/Black GX. Craaazy in Texas, I know. But white/black is hard to find for some reason. We have a knee biter on the way, and didn't want Ecru for that reason, and also I thought the driver seat would probably show more dirt and wear since it gets used more. That's how it was on the wife's Accord with light gray leather anyway.
Not sure if you're looking for New/Used or CPO, but all of the CPO GXs at Sewell have Sepia interior. If you want to see some pics of some used interiors, they have tons.
I thought it was going to be a darker brown, but it was only slightly darker than the Ecru and more grayish, I thought. I did not like it. And then the dash and steering wheel leather are a different color and it just looks like a mess. My opinion.
Good luck, It'll be a great truck, no doubt, regardless of color.

Leather seat butt prints
Wife has new 2015 GX460 w/ less than 2k miles. She is 5'-2" , 105 lbs. has noticed indentations in driver's side seat. I expected foam/leather to bounce back over night but not happening. Also seeing less severe indents on seldom used passenger seat. Anyone else seeing this? Seems like it take a few years for seats to deform.

What trim do you have? I believe leather seats only come on the Premium and Luxury editions. I have no idea how well the NuLuxe holds up.

Leather defect on new '16 GX Lux?
I am supposed to take delivery of a new GX Luxury on Saturday. I went by the dealership today just to check out the car and go over a few details with the Sales Consultant.
While inspecting the car I noticed a section of creased/wrinkled leather on the drivers seat (inner leg bolster). Does this look normal to you? Would you accept it on a new car? They had a Black Premium trim on the showroom floor that did not have this issue. I'm pretty frustrated especially considering the Luxury trim level is supposed to have the highest quality leather. The Service Manager is going to look at it tomorrow, send a picture to Lexus, and let me know what they say.
Thanks!
Passenger seat inner bolster for comparison ...

Im picky, but that would not upset me. Leather is always going to do that in a while anyway. The leather that looks the best over time is leather that has been over treated and is harder. Soft leather actually has tradeoffs like that.

That would bug me and over time it will look worse. Try to get it in writing that they will swap out the seat.

After a few weeks of ownership, the other side will look like that too. It's leather. Be thankful for that, instead of the s****y NuLuxe.
