Here’s my Ironman bumper I just installed about a week and half ago. Did it in my garage. Couple things I learned while doing the install listed below. Over all I’m really happy and excited about it and it went well.
First off I had to loosen the lower radiator mounting bolts on each side to get enough wiggle room to get the bumper brackets in. Once that was done it was pretty smooth sailing.
Second item is, you’ll want to use the pinch weld rubber trim they include to cover the pinch weld right next and above the power steering line to prevent rubbing and wearing down of those metal lines. I have a temporary rubber hose but will reinforce it further.
Third was really have a helping hand. I have no idea how many times I fitted the bumper to get the cuts right but it’s on and off and back on again to measure. I still have one final trimming needed but the bumper is on. Waiting for my amazon order of bumper trim to cover the cuts. Take it slow and don’t cut off too much of your bumper cover at a time. Can’t undo those cuts lol. Feel free and if anyone needs examples of where I cut, I’m more than happy to send detailed pics.
SSO is selling a Washer Bottle Reservoir cover. If you have noticed on some of the lifted 460s with bumpers the washer bottle is exposed. Not 100% on fit but 4R washer tank is in the same location.
I love the look of the CBI bumper, even though it's not oem it retains as much of that look as possible (while still adding some function) however it appears in the install video posted above in order to use the CBI bumper you also need to buy their skid plates (at least the front one) which only adds to the cost, but I could be wrong. I don't have to worry about the wife ever letting me add aftermarket bumpers to our GX though.... simply will not happen. haha

I've been really debating pulling the trigger on their bumper, but if that's true, I can't justify adding skid plates to an already super expensive bumper buy.
it's just me speculating by watching the video, might not be the case.... fingers crossed it would work with the stock front skid and the bumber only replaces the cover and front lower plastic piece that fills the gap between the oem bumper cover and oem front skid.
I decided to put the Ironman bumper on my car because I do not want to be 500 miles from home and hit a deer or something that would leave me stranded. The CBI does not seem to provide the same protection to the radiator, etc.
