Does anyone know if you can turn off the voice command from stating the date and time before each text?

I would imagine its possible since mine doesnt do it.

Not exactly sure what you have experienced, inside setup menu, there is a section for Voice Recognition, where you have the option to turn on "Extended Command" and if you want the system always read back, maybe you can try to disable extended command will help.
