I haven't been able to find any temp specifications in the FSM. Only refrigerant charge volume and the fact unit doesn't work below freezing outside vehicle.

I'd love this option when taking road trips... need to keep meds cool for 12-20 hours while driving and swapping ice packs is such a pain in the butt
If you're in the US, I don't think the Cool Box option is available. If you're gonna mod the car to get the coolbox, I suggest getting a dometic cfx fridge. It takes more room but you can remove it, when not in use, and you can actually use it as a freezer or fridge.

Did know such an option existed.
Something like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dometic-T...xoCP-MQAvD_BwE

could plug it in to the outlet in the back of the GX?

I'm not sure if that one can get cold enough for what you need. Overlanders use true fridge freezer like this one.

I am not sure why we are missing alot of nice to have features here in the U.S. if I knew some Canadian models had every feature, I would have imported one myself as I did before with my other 2 cars. Importing a car is really easy between Canada and U.S. The only issue which I would consider it a deal breaker myself is that most of the cars up there will have rust from the snow/salt as this will will be driven year around unlike sport cars.

I haven't had much luck directly powering refrig from that outlet. I have to use a 400W power bank that charges at around 75W to power either my 50 quart ARB or my
15 quart Alpicool 15 quart Alpicool

I looked at a lot of GX's here in Canada and never saw one with a cooler. Seemed to be an rare option on even the Ultra Premiums.

I have seen one on a LX.

In Canada it's the Executive package. It includes rear seat entertainment, console cool box and transmission cooler.
