Try pulling the fuse. Looks like this is it under the hood. LH, RH...left hand right hand

Thank you very much for the photo. Unfortunately that didn't work. I guess Lexus realized some of us might try to do that and made sure the buzzer couldn't be defeated no matter what!

Hmmm, pull the battery cable and let it sit for 15-20 min. You will loose some settings. Just to clarify, did pulling the fuses shut down both seats?

Yes, the good seat wouldn't move but the buzzer kept buzzing on both the bad and the good seat.

I pulled the wiring harness right behind and below the bad seat and now no noise. But still need to fix this half up seat so I started pulling out the seat per your excellent write up in another thread, but since the bottom seat is down, I can't get to one of the screws. So I'm going to try the remove battery cable idea (I'm doing that now which is why I'm posting) and will take it from there.

Next question - is there a way to push the seats down/up without power ? I'm guessing now that the rear seat motor is burned out, because (using a test light), I can see that the motor is getting voltage when the switch is pressed, but the motor itself isn't working. Any way to override the lock on the motor to push the seat back into its stowed position? Thank you.

Default Is there a way to disable the third row alarm?

My third row seat in my 2013 looks to be up completely, but the alarm continuously beeps. I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow and do not have time to go to the dealership. Please advise.

Do you have a GX or an LX? You should post this question in the correct forum – nobody here (in the GS forum) has third row seats

A little more digging led me to find out it's a GX460, thanks Sodium! I'll move the threads accordingly.

Maybe you have this problem? Are the seats working? Raising and lowering with no problem?

I typically hate to resurrect old threads but I've ran into the same issue on our '10 GX. Did anything ever come of this, or is there a way to manually stow the seat? Also, where is that specific wiring harness, gonna go pull it to stop the beeping if I can! Any help much appreciated!

If it is a continuous fault I am not sure if this will clear it as it is not restored.

Let us know. Good luck..

Edit: looks like pulling the cable did work on post #8

Stripped the rear down and unplugged that harness. Did in fact stop the buzzing, now to try and figure out how to get the seat down or a new motor! Gonna start the search for a motor or run by the local lexus shop and see what they can do.
