Down in that area is where I shorted the pins to put it into reverse, but I didn't have the wiring to activate the monitor. Now on pause to see about the Tesla style tablet interface.
why did you short the pins to put it in reverse and is the wiring you're talking about the wiring I have?

I have no options when the reverse camera is shown. When the front and side cameras there's an option on the top left that seems to do nothing when i tap it.
It's been a couple of months, but I think it was that one there. Made the mirrors go down and reverse lights turn on.
2012 premium. I never did find the correct wiring diagram and since waiting for the tablet interface I haven't looked any more.
Uh.... Not even the blue fixed line on reverse? I have no idea what else to look for. Maybe other folks with Driver Support Package can offer some ideas.
The top option on front/side view will only be active when there is a camera in Driver side mirror, which in your case is correct
I guess I didn't realized that 10-13 "Multi Terrain Monitor" optioned models outside of USA actually had direction lines as well and looking in lower left corner dynamic as well. "Multi Terrain Monitor" isn't the same as the Driver Support Package & cameras. It has 4 cameras and left camera comes into play while off road.

For some unknown reasons, everything sold here has many options been eliminated, mostly die to some stupid regulation that was so out dated but no one wants to go through the hassle to change them. Such as driver side mirror has to be flat not curved, turn signals has to be initially certain rumination size which prevented most dynamic sequence turn signal setup, etc. I would assume some of those options and setups in someway and somehow ended up in gray area of regulations.
Don't you need a new steering wheel for the radar? Isn't there an extra button on the right hand side of the steering wheel for that?
Or can it be activated somewhere else?

Took a chance and lost.... :-( I should have researched far more...
I picked up a used AHB mirror from a '13 model.
I should have paid far closer attention to the obvious about the connectors for the mirror and actually took it apart first. If it plugged in I was gonna take the risk the BCM might still work with it. As you can see connectors different...
Wiring schematic made it look like only a few wires coming out of AHB model... well this one has 12. I'm curious to see what my official factory wiring harness book shows but that won't get here for another week.

EDIT: I will hang onto the mirror considering I got it for less than 1/3 of new. Maybe over time I can piece together what is needed to get mod working.
Thanks!
It looks like one would have to replace two computers in order to get the auto high beams working. I think that will be a project for another time if ever. Now just going to concentrate on getting RDCC and the cameras working.

I haven't given up. I have a Lexus '12 FSM wiring diagram book that is supposed to show up tomorrow. It seems there are few wires to get this working but still not sure on the BSM or AFS modules whether it will work. Crawl mod probably pushed me into being a little less concerned about compatibility as at one point skid ECU was a concern which turned out to being moot.
