I'd be too nervous using those in terms of product longevity.
Does anyone have the actual part numbers for the adjustable front and rear shocks to price them out for OEM replacements from a reputable vendor?
Seems like the front is maybe 48510-60260 at $281 a piece, rear is 48530-60260 at $540 a piece and those are from a discounted OEM vendor.
I'll need to evaluate my shocks here sooner than later. Vehicle still rides all right, but eventually I would like to do a refresh. Since it's my wife's vehicle, I don't want to do a lift and I don't really want to use the non-premium shocks, even though they are cheaper. Even at $1600 or so, that's not bad... plus labor of course. The rears seem easy enough, I'd probably have a local Lexus/Toyota off road place do the fronts.
I think mine are fine as well but would just play extra safe on those small 4-5mm hex screws. IIRC... there is always the stabilizer bar tension w/either a floor jack or the KDSS release procedure to get the front shocks off.
While the shocks I am on the fence ...I'd entertain aftermarket bags. Compressor is another one I am on the fence... my Timbrens's give me some flexibility if compressor fails and suspension heads toward the bump stops.
I've heard really good things about the Arnott bags if one wants OEM level quality and a lifetime warranty. Still not cheap but about ~$125 less than OEM--> $362 versus $488

Fast forward a couple years, the OEM ones are $818 and the Arnott ones are $440. EACH! WOW.
A shop near me who specializes in Toyota, Lexus, and Scion says the Arnott ones are far worse, they see a lot of failures with them.
With that said, the Arnott ones are still cheaper and have lifetime warranty. I wonder how easy the install would be if I DIY without a lift? Any videos? Also, how much harsher is the ride with the Arnott ones?
