Default New Member intro--2018 GX

New member here, I'm on MUD and some other car forums but did a lot of research here before getting the GX Base this morning. Would post pics but can't get plates until Monday so I'm sitting without the new truck as of yet; look forward to being a part of the community and thanks for the pre-purchase reading!

Also, really want to get red/clear tail lights from the previous 2010-2013 so interested to hear how people have managed that [I saw some painted, some bought overlays, some swapped for earlier but curious what the consensus is]...

Congrats Vento. welcome to the group. There's really no consensus on the red/clear taillights. I do think the swap makes more sense since there are folks with pre-13' GX that would want to change their red/clear to white/clear of post-13' GX

We just purchased a 2018 GX with the sport premium package. It has the red/clear tail lights. Might be an option for you.

The sport I heard has the red tails--interesting that they would do that!

i will be going the overlay/wrap route. i cant justify spending $800+ for new tails just to get red.

I think I will as well if I end up going this direction--please post pics when you wrap yours!
