I'm supposed to be picking up my 2020 GX460 Premium today. I actually have the smart key card for my GS350 now. It works, and would like to get one for the GX as well. I'll try to post photos of what the "normal" fobs look like. I'm assuming that all the information in this thread will work for 2020, but I'll double check the FCC id on the new fobs when I pick it up.
Also, mentioned further up, you CANNOT put these in your wallet and sit on them all day. Within a month of me having mine, it cracked on both sides of the L logo on the front. I had to switch to a tiny front pocket wallet to avoid making it worse.
Keep us updated if you can! I’m sure there is a fcc id match to another wallet key if the old one doesn’t work anymore. I was never able to put a wallet in the back pocket, always bothered my back.
maybe internally or on the side where the key fits in? Aren’t all devices required to have the ID?
Any commercial wireless transmitter using radio wave sold in US require FCC ID and registration. It maybe imprinted in battery compartment and/or spare physical key compartment. It should also printed on Owner’s Manual. It is on page 102 of 2020 GX Owner’s manual. Here it is:

set up a virtual box (download it online for free for Mac or windows)
Careful on your copy... lots of infected copies from all the cables that come from China. I run mine on a laptop with NO INTERNET CONNECTION. Be very cautious...
So my Smart Card just arrived from Bell Lexus via USPS. I was able to successfully register the key!
I spent literally all weekend figuring out how to get techstream to work with the mini VCI cable. My advice is to figure all of that stuff out while your key is in the hands of USPS. That way when it arrives, you’ve got all the kinks worked out! I literally just plugged in the mini VCI cable in, opened up Techstream and followed the directions. Thank you everyone for your guidance!
Does anyone know what is the part number for the credit card key card for 2020-21 GX460? I have it for my Land Cruiser and absolutely love it and want to do the easy mod for my wife's 21 GX as well. BTW I will be more than glad to program one for anyone around Raleigh, NC for any Lexus/Toyota vehicle but you have to have un-programmed one.
