Much like Pedal Commander this is one of those things you just have to experience to fully appreciate. A further level of convenience I didn't think was possible.

I'm new to the forum and recently bought a 2019 GX Premium. I'm very much interested in getting this setup done. But has anyone done this on 2018 or a 2019 model ? My key fobs match the FCC # given above. Please advise.

How's everyone liking this wallet key? Is it making the wallet too thick? I'm afraind I would have a "George Costanza" wallet moment and everything would burst and fly everywhere. LOL.

I still really like having this. It is really nice just taking my wallet with me. I don't really find the smart keys width causing an issue with my wallet and I also have a Tile in my wallet.

It’s definitely worth it for me! If the GX doesn’t unlock that means I don’t have my key and ultimately my wallet.
Still on the original battery that came with it. It fits in my bi-fold wallet where the money is supposed to be. It might be a bit thick to fit into the regular card slots though.

Love the credit card key!
Only downside is when the battery fails. so always make sure to have the blade accessible.
Anyone have problems with the key not being recognized? as in while driving it will randomly pop up, key not found.

It happened to me few times. But only happened when my wife had key fob with her and when she exited car. Would guess the key fob emits stronger signal and the sensor in the car had locked on that key fob. Normally after a short moment, the sensor will again recognize the card key is present and everything back to normal again. One thing I also experienced, since the sensor is under the cup hold for the front compartment of the car (there are ones in second row and trunk area as well), I normally have my wallet on my up left coat pocket, if I move the wallet to the right side, the above situation will not happen either. Another indication of slight weak signal for the card key compare to key fob. But in general, I have no problem whatsoever.
