I ordered a set of these Tred Pros. It sounds like their earlier versions would crack but these newer versions are as durable or better in some situations than Maxtrax. I guess we'll see on that. They have a lifetime warranty but I think Maxtrax does now as well.

These Tred Pros appear to be well made.

I bought some mounts to attach to my Yakima basket.

I will be using something better than zip ties.
