Thanks. I saw those posts but the pdf will be helpful if I ended up getting one with no nav. I appreciate it.
For the gx 470, no nav is sought after as it's easier to upgrade and all AC related stuff is using buttons.

If you want non-nav, one could just go for the Base model. For 2020, Base model still exists.

Does the base model with non nav actually come with hard button to adjust ac/heat.

‘14+ non-nav visually look the same and HVAC operation is the same as well. The rare non-nav button setup was limited to 10-13 models.

Are you saying the 14+ base non-nav trims don't have the physical A/C and fan buttons? If so, there's a tiny 3" screen and just empty space nearby?

I think it will just be the same big screen but no nav on the screen. AC/Heater is still using screen interface.

I assume that those 10-13 bases can also replace their factory audio unit for any old double din unit seeing how they dont run the vehicle functions through the small screen?

Now it's big screen with no NAV: how useless and wasteful of a screen!
And no A/C buttons either! Lose-lose!

That is an interesting retrofit possibility

I was thinking the same thing and tried to visualize if the lower part of the dash can accommodate such a conversion. Do you know of anyone who did it?

I'm always surprised why they decide to skip on nav or opt for much smaller screen, especially for a luxury type of vehicles like Lexus.
