Just FYI, with the engine off, the fluid will be pumped when the steering wheel is turned. I don't start the engine when I do a power steering flush.

Well now ya tell me!! I got it done, just surprised me that it would start circulating fluid right away.

The factory fill is supposed to be Toyota 08886-01206

Changed the PS fluid on my 2017 this weekend at 57k miles. I used the Toyota ATF (highway robbery at $14/quart). The old fluid was black and smelled burnt. New fluid is bright red and clean. Used my Mityvac fluid extractor and pulled old fluid out of the return hose until new red fluid began to be removed (kept reservoir full of new fluid while this happening). It took just under two quarts for a full flush. The steering is again silky smooth and quiet. This only took about 15 mins to complete and I am a bit embarrassed I waited this long to do it. Very simple job with immediately satisfying results.
