I know where the lock release is. Works on driver's side, but doesn't on passenger side. What am I doing wrong?

What do you mean by "nor working on passenger side", either jammed or the release had broken spring? Both side should be the same.

I don't know what's wrong with it. It moves up just like the driver's side release, but the seat does not release.

It's a 2015. I used it several months ago and it was fine.

Then you have a broken link. Check the release cable and/or attachment are normal:

Same happened on my 2015. The passenger's side release cable had fallen out of the clip/holder at the base near the release mechanism which seemed like a very un-Lexus occurrence! I removed the rear and side covers and reattached the cable, now it works perfectly.

I have this same issue on my 2015, going to follow these instructions today hopefully to see if I can repair this myself. Thank you.

Our 2016 had the same issue and the cable just fell off the latch. Was repaired under warranty

Recently bought a used '15 GX and discovered the rear passenger side seat wont fold flat. The spring in the seat release doesn't seem to have much tension like the drivers side. Does any know what part I need and this an easy DIY job? Thanks
