Default Thought on LED light bar in the 14+ grille?

I was looking at the front of the car today and saw this dead space on the grille circled below in yellow. Has anyone thought of putting a thin LED light bar in that gap? I have to go do some depth, height, and curvature measurements but I dont see why its not possible. A nice curved, thin, dark tinted (or not depending on preference) LED might be pretty useful in that wasted space. Does anyone think the space is too small and might cause heat issues?

I'm sure the grille would need to be removed to do this the right way and as far as wiring, does anyone know if these trucks have any prewiring for auxiliary lighting or will this be an add-a-fuse situation? Any write ups for adding aux lighting floating around?

There are no pre-wires in the front for any aux lights. However, there are lots of spaces behind grill, and wiring is not that difficult. In fact, there is an access hole through the firewall into the cabin right above the break paddle area, there is also at least one open switch space at left side of steering wheel panel, next heated steering wheel with (if you have that option, if not, you have more open switch spaces). And power source is also available off the fuse box right above the parking break. I couldn't say I am a big fan of light bar in general, really have to see how it will play out with the entire front end.

ok thanks, yea I figured I’d be going that route. Can get a Toyota oem blank switch pretty easily put it next to the vsc switch.

Im not a fan of light bars either and the 14+ grille is flashy enough but I think a very thin strip tinted dark would blend in well. Good quality bar would give a lot of useful light if it has spot and flood.
