Default GX460 (Dusty) Build Thread

Here is my new to me 2011 GX460 named Dusty (Formerly named Charlotte...Wife named it lol). Came from a GX470 and enjoying the more modern features of the 460.

Congrats and welcome to CL. With the thread title I was expecting to see some mods?

Congrats, I also had a 1st and now a 2nd generation, both fantastic trucks. I ordered the MTS module and I haven’t decided on the CC yet...

I’m debating on purchasing a set of Tough Dog struts or Dobinsons for her. Decisions decisions

So from my understanding all I need for MTS is the module and it’s plug n play?

Yes, that is correct. I confirmed that today too w/ Acrad35751 who originally figured it all out. With Crawl Control you need to do the Zero Point calibration after install.

Yes. Just to make sure to order the correct ECU, for yours, it should be the 020 ECU

I ordered the 020 module from oemvehicleparts but it’s coming from Japan, so whenever it arrives I will install. I’m not expecting any issues as others have said that it’s basically plug and play.

The 070 switches I do have to go back and check the thread to see which pins I have to jump as I don’t have Techstream.

Were you not able to order the 020 module from a dealer in the US?

If you can't get in US go to this place in Japan. That is where I bought mine. I got mine at beginning of these upgrades for around $125 shipped but you can still get for $140.

That current price on their site converts to about $134.28.

• Checkout and use "Postal Service - Ordinary" for shipping... this will be $6-$7

https://www.parts-sale.jp/index.php?...rch=859A160020

if info doesn't show up search for ----> 859A160020

They will add this in and then invoice you. I used Paypal but I it appears you can use a credit card too. Shipping is pretty quick. I'm ordering some brake parts for my G35x through them now that are half cost of domestic. Shipping is surprisingly quick from Japan too.

Reminder: The 020 is only for '10-'13 MTS.

This site only sells parts that are also in domestic JDM vehicles. I can get pretty much anything for my G35x (V36) since it is a Nissan Skyline there.
