I was coming back from track yesterday towing my motorcycle(total load 1250 pounds). I put the transmission in S5 as stated in the manual. I noticed that the floor next to gas pedal got hot. Is this normal behavior? Mine was a 2017 GX 460. Another question. Do all GX's come with a transmission cooler?

I'd actually put it in 4th gear if towing and on any hills. You will see a noticeable temp drop with an OBD reader for the transmission torque converter and case temps. It has a cooler in the driver side of radiator but it may be advantageous to add an additional inline air cooler. This is sold as an option on Canadian GXs.
