Hi there,

How much does it cost to add 3M clear wrap all around the car? Specifically door handles and high scratch prone areas?

Thanks!

prices vary from place to place. a 3M clear bra for hood and mirrors estimate around $300. for bumper around $400-500
3M vinyl wrap such as this. full chrome delete is around $500-600.

these are all based on quotes I have received

The 3M licensed guys are trying to charge 850 for just the basic package (front piece of hood and front fenders). Looks like I'll get the precut ones from ebay and have someone local install it.

$850 is too much for just a hood and fenders. is that 18" up? i would ask around.

i would be leery of ordering pre-cut ones. it needs to be larger to pull and stretch. and some shops wont install it/cant guarantee the quality.

This is the installers quote: The standard package that covers the bumper, 1/3rd hood, fender and mirror is about $850. I will include the door cups at no charge.

Here are ebay listings for precut film:
Door cups
and
Hood, fenders and mirror

Somewhat, have to trim the bulb mounting piece on harness and housing. The light configurations are different and switch some bulbs to LEDs. A bid of modification involved.

I was told I had to remove the bumper to get the grille off. Yeah.. if there is a DIY out there it would certainly help.
