Lightbulb Chrome delete

First official mod is in the books. Chrome delete, window tint and plasti-dip emblems. Sliders and wheels are in the garage, waiting to see the new km3’s before I pull that trigger. Then rack (back order) but ordered and lift.

Looks good with the grey... nicely done!
I wonder how it would go with a white GX?

I think anything looks better than chrome. I have a white Audi avant that came factory blacked out.

Just curious, why the dislike of chrome? I read this thread this morning and started looking at cars today and chrome trim seems to be more prevalent on luxury cars...Is this changing over time and considered outdated? I have noticed newer cars are going in this direction but some manufacturers such as Cadillac Escalade use alot of chrome.

I think that trends and people’s tastes evolve. I have had plenty of chromed out vehicles. But have been in this phase of chrome delete for about 7 years now.

if you have time and wouldn't mind. this is the area I was most worried about. especially with the white.
I should have wrapped my roof too before getting a rack.

Could you tell me what tools are necessary? I plan to wrap my handle up which has the chrome terribly worn out. Thanks

Here are a few shots. I had it done professionally, so I can’t recommend required tools
