Bluetooth Microphone issues
My wife mainly drives the vehicle and finds that the microphone used for bluetooth calling is located in a spot that makes it difficult for people to hear her unless she turns her head towards it - and ultimately away from the road. Is there any type of extender or other option that would allow the microphone to be placed closer to her mouth or in a more direct line of sight with the road.

I found that when I had the front vents blowing while I was talking, the sound was garbling. Turned it off or redirected it away from the mic and it sounded better.

chip for screen
hey guys, I have a 2014 gx. the chip went out on it that controls everything on the screen , they said 10 days its been 14 days.the g.m. I just talked to said it may be two months! because they are on b,o,
I talked to a guy while I was over there getting the prob.checked and he said his had gone out as well, after talking for a few minutes he told me his went out with 51,000 miles on it which I found strange
because mine had 51,000 and some miles when it went out.just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem an what did you do?

Easy to update though lexus as mentioned above. In effort to avoid starting a new thread and along the lines of the original post - Is it worth updating? I have a 6K miles road trip coming up this summer. I already have a 2014 Garmin with Lifetime maps but i do like how the stock navigation doesn't take up any windshield space, doesn't cause clutter, and integrates nicely into the Audio.

I use the Lexus Nav everyday that I work. If the address is not found and I want to use the screen I use Waze to find the location and then enter something similar into the Lexus such as the closest street or intersection.

Not worth the cost of update. As tecman mentioned above, I do the same way if the place I am going that is not in the Lexus data base, I will using my phone for reference. Now days, there is just way too much of option that will get you from A to B. Even you paid for update, chances are your database is still out of date anyway or shortly after.

Audio preset questions for 2016 GX
Just got a 2016 and getting all set up. When I am programming my XM channels, it displays only "Ch 117" etc. Yes, total first-world problem, but is this seriously the way it's designed, or is there a way to show the actual name of the stations like my GM did before, i.e. the tabs say "Y2Kountry" or "CNN" etc? Separately, yet related, is there a way to set it so the song name and artist scrolls to show the entire name when it's long and cut off?
