Default GX460 SD card

My SD card is not working. I took it out and put it back in and now not working. Do I need to replace it?

For 2014 and up model year, the Nav is using NicroSD (TF) Card for map data base. The card slot is under the radio stack, the left side near the volume/power switch.

I may have found a place that repairs mine for $1k as well. From what I was told the circuit board would be a new replacement with 24 month warranty.

I got a quote for $450-$850 from https://hitechserv.com/ but decided to buy one that I found for just under $1000 on eBay. Your ML version may be more expensive to fix than mine, and is certainly more expensive to replace. One more place to try is http://car-part.com/, where you can find quite a few of these. I just had a very hard time getting part numbers straight for any of them.

You should be able to see the part numbers on the unit if it is out of the car. Let me know how that unit works for you. I am glad that you were able to find a unit for that price. I believe hitechserv.com price is if they do not replace the circuit board. Also, do you have your unit out of the car? If so could you post the rear of the unit? I believe the rear are identical for the connectors. However, I was told the Mark Levinson was optical out versus analog for the non-ML unit. I am not sure how if the units use same connectors.

Yes; here's the back of the unit. It did appear to have something that looked like a toslink style optical output--and cable connected to it.

FWIW - I just had a battery changed today, and it took about a minute for my “Infotainment” screen to come back up -said something about ‘Loading”... clock took a few minutes too... But... i did come back. I assume you waited a few minutes?

That said - I thought my computer got fried in the battery swap process.

I think Toyota knows something wrong with these units. I took my car in last month and asked the serviced manager to go to Lexus to see if they would help me pay for the replacement. To my surprise, they paid for my refurbished unit out of good will. I think these units are starting to go bad and Toyota need to be aware of the issue. It definitely would make me think twice about getting another Toyota/Lexus eventhough mechanically their cars are rock solid. The repair cost for these units are way out of line.

The only thing that can be done (right now) is the brain ie the Nav/radio needs to be replaced... but Lexus will have a tech look @ ur car & run a diagnosis & it should be replaced under ur warranty... Reason I know, I have a GS F-Sport RWD I just picked up with 1300 miles on it doing the same thing every so often... Not to mention a friend of mine is a service manager @ a Lexus dealership here in MA & he told me Lexus sent out a all dealer notification 2 weeks ago...

On your car, do you have any part numbers or vin that we could use to deal with our dealers to have replaced? Still fighting this on my wife's car.

My '14 ML unit was out of warranty and Lexus replaced under "good will". My unit would not boot at all and I had lost control to my AC, Bluetooth, etc. I think Toyota knows there is something wrong with these units. Ask your service manager to contact Toyota and see if they would help you pay for the replacement.

How is your battery?
The reason I asked was that my nephew's 2015 IS350 was having issues with the NAV, not responding then turn off etc...
Then finally he couldn't start the car. He replaced the battery and everything works again. The NAV is now back to normal. I've heard weird things happened with weak battery
