The battery died recently on my 2015 ultra premium. After boosting it the nav screen is black, but works for the reverse camera. And the radio/dvd controls flash constantly.
Ive tried disconnecting the battery and waiting for an hour, as per others suggestions, but still no luck.
Anyone have this issue before?

try again. After battery disconnect, the system needs to reload the OS from the SD card. If that failed, you may have a bad SD card needs to be replaced. If you did see the initial “Reloading…….” message, then you might have other issues.

You may want to check the micro SD card at bottom left corner of the center stack. Reseat it and d

I don’t get any reloading messages on the screen.
Could it just be the sd card?

plugged it into my laptop and couldn’t read the card. Looks like it’s toast. I’m guessing you’re $200 is USD that would be a few more loonies for us Canadians. Anyone know of aftermarket options that work?

2014 Gx premium sound system
My GX has the Mark Levinson sound, but the kids always complain they can’t hear the voices during movies, so we have to turn it up, and then it blasts when anything louder happens. It’s like the middle speakers aren’t putting out any sound. Also, when I try to move the sound to the rear, it doesn’t seem to help, and when I move it all the way to the rear, it completely cuts out. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

Sounds like the same issues people experience with surround sound home theaters -

RTFM thread of the day
I changed my HOME screen to indicate CLIMATE and AUDIO on the left and NAVIGATION on the right. How do I change my display to make this my default screen and not have to hit the HOME button each time I start. Is it even possible?
And I know, look it up in the manual…

Unfortunately you can not. The default screen will be either the Nav or other function screen such as audio or climate if you have auto screen switch turned off. If auto screen is on, there is always default to nav. You can not set the Home Screen as default regardless.

If the ML sound system is anything like the regular sound system, the biggest issue is that the speakers are purpose-built and aren't all full-range. It's likely you're only getting vocal frequencies out of a couple of speakers.

Hello, could you please let us know how you ended up with this problem? Were you able to solve the problem? Asking since i have the same car and the same problem (exact the same picture on the monitor). Thanks!

Language Filter in Navigation
Hi guys!
I was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the language (swear word) filter in the navigation system for text messages in a 2015 GX? I've tried googling and searching the forum, but I cannot find anything on how to do this. I was able to find it on my 2014 GS, but that car is gone and I do not remember where in the menus it was.
