2014-2021 Radio/Infotainment/Navigation - Issues, Problems, Questions, Updates
#571
Bought recently, 2016 GX460, 88k miles. Battery disconnected/swapped just before purchase. Tried with Sirius/XM to start subscription, and no signal. Repeatedly reset by Sirius/XM and same result. Dealership confirmed the signal is received but from "only" 3 satellites and it apparently takes minimum of 8...not sure if this is true. Anyway, dealership charged about $300 for diagnostics, told me the antennae was fine but same result. Any ideas? Replacement of OEM is 3-4000!! The am, fm, nav and climate all work fine.
I use Apple Music now, have playlist and also using the radio feature for genres.
I know that is only a walk-around, but I would not repair my SAT radio unit.

I am having intermittent navigation freezing and rebooting issues. At dealer now and have read on this forum that it’s been happening to others gx models since 2014
I have a 2019 and could not get it fixed the first time I took it in to a different dealer. Trying to get things fixed while under a lexus extended warranty/service contract.
Anyone else having these issues still? Any fix?
