Are you running in ECO for fuel economy or no interest in performance shifting Acrad? I am averaging 15+ mpg and still in a higher sport mode setting.

More for less jumpy..... perhaps I am getting old :-)

I don't really drive my GX in the city much... either freeway (stop and go or wide open with little traffic) or off-road so aggressive acceleration isn't really up there for my use case. I do change it up at times when in areas I know that I will need a more aggressive throttle.

I'm probably just an outlier as a PC user... I also have full skids on stock height AVS/RAHC model :-)

So with that said, You really liked this device before but have lost interest in it?

I still love the aggressive shifting but I am in a different category here

Not at all really :-) Still interested....

I just like to detune the throttle in lower speed conditions below stock.

Kinda MTS for everyday

Make sure not to bend the wires too much.

You'll have problems. Very annoying problems. The car will default into limp mode.

Pedal command replaced mine when this happened a few times.

I decided to give this a try. Will get here by early next week. I would assume it’s is similar as paddle commander. Will see how this turned out.

So you never tried the PC and chose this instead.. Let us know what you think.

Assuming the "Lock" mode at the end of the video would need to be done locally as this device is not remote accessible. Cool feature anyway but besides that feature I am not sure of advantages over the PC?

Have not tried any of those kind of devices yet. Not sure what I will be expecting, but as an experimental, will definitely shared thoughts.

Sprint Booster is another option for throttle controllers, I've been using one in our 5th gen 4Runner with excellent results! Nice thing about the Sprint Booster is you can set it where you like it and remove the controller altogether, I keep mine in the glovebox.

This isn't something I find I'm constantly making changes to, I "fixed" the throttle response to where I like it, and I haven't touched it in a couple of years now, with the controller removed there's nothing to indicate it's even there in the interior.

I must say, the Beatsonic device looks very interesting. My wife complains that her GX just isn't peppy enough. I know this will not actually change the horsepower, but if it FEELS more responsive it might be worth it to her. Has anyone used the BeatSonic unit?

Default Pedal Commander !

I'm new here, and just upgraded to a 2021 GX Premium from a 2020 4Runner Off Road Premium. Both great vehicles, but the GX is on another level in just about every way with the exception of CarPlay.

Anyway, I had a Pedal Commander in the 4Runner, (model PC27), and was pleased to discover that is also works perfectly in the GX.

Greatly improves perceived throttle response. I've settled on the City setting +/-0 for now.

The GX needed less 'help' than the 4Runner did, but still benefits greatly from this simple mod in my opinion.

Cheers.
