Thanks! I was able to resist the 20% off but with the stacking 10%; free shipping; and no tax on ebay $237 delivered was an easy choice.

I have both, and my 2008 470 feels more nimble and quicker.

Here is what I think is going on. The 460 and 470 have similar torque ratings, but the 460 has more HP. I am guessing the higher HP is due to the ability to generate more torque at higher engine speeds, so to get the HP advantage you have to rev it harder (HP = torque x RPM essentially). Similar torque ratings means at lower RPMs both engines produce similar power and since the 470 is lighter it is quicker until you rev the engines above say 4,000 RPM.

My guess and experience anyway.

Install went well and impressed with device. I was able to get the connector off gas pedal. Hardest part for me was getting the adhesive back off of the velcro.

I mounted in same location as tecman.

Wow.. that really allows a full range of throttle response mappings. I can see even using the ECO mode in stop and go traffic. I just drove around a couple blocks to try out. Also ran my OBD scanner to ensure no codes and nothing.

If device is turned off you are at stock setting.

Thanks for reporting back, I've seen some reviews saying that you can achieve the same result without P.C if you floor the gas pedal, is this true ?

I don't have enough drive time to know. What I have heard ever since electronic throttles came on the scene is that they don't open the butterfly valve like a mechanical linkage if you simply floor it. They will open wide but not as fast as mechanical and somehow this can simulate a mechanical throttle opening wide.

Sweet, it will take some time to find your comfortable normal driving setting and you will learn how to control the pedal.

I'm also interested to see how ECO -4 works in 4L for small off-road crawling

To me it depends how heavy your rig is. For stock configuration, City 2 + setting is good to go. For my heavily modded Rick and lifted, sport 2 plus setting is needed for proper quick acceleration to counter the weight and lag time. Also, notice that your RPM still hover around 2000 to 3000, unlike the 460 built-in shifting sport mode which raised the RPM. Sorry for the bad grammar and spelling I'm doing talk-to-text on the cell phone.

Also, I turned off the pedal Commander while off-roading in 4 lo or even 4Hi off-roading for safety and do not need the extra kick.

Curious what is (if any) long term cons of use of P.C, talking few years down the line...if acceleration changes from gentle to rapid I'm guessing certain parts work harder than under factory setting, possibly faster wear and tear of components ?
