Offroad camera systems

Offroad camera systems
Considering some of these underside cameras systems. It would be nice to have the underside one like the LC and LX570 but also one in the rear pointing forward where you could see entire underside.

The second one can apparently work with a phone or tablet and also record the video.
It does say.. "***Note: For use with 1x camera, please inquire about using multiple cameras"
I'm gonna inquire about multiple cameras.
Not as easy to integrate stuff with the '10-'13 units so using a tablet while offroad is fine with me.
Their cameras look fairly stout for underside installs.

There are some cheaper options out there for the Wifi piece. This even says it can flip the image and supports multiple cameras.

I love the idea of this...just wonder how well the visibility is after you've been thru heavy dust. I'd even consider a temporary wireless system that holds on with magnets for days when you'll be crawling thru lots of rocky sections.

Just want to confirm for MY2020. Even if you don't have the off-road package but got the 360 camera option, you still get all the off-road package camera view. Including the virtual under carriage view.

Thanks, Acrad. Also, since the under carriage view is basically a stitch of all of the camera, the view is not available as soon as you go to 4L. You would need to drive forward a few feet, then it will let you switch to the under carriage mode.

Has anyone actually looked into retrofit? I have 2019 driver support package with the wide view front and right side camera, and the camera button on the wheel. I am wondering if, with this starting point, it would be possible to add the left side camera and computer support.

While oem fit and finish is great, aftermarket cameras can stand in for trail views if you intend to bring the GX on some serious offroading. You can mount em anywhere and have a dedicated monitor.
