Lifting a rear air suspension GX
are there any solutions to upgrade the rear airbags when lifting the GX460? I would like to keep the rear air suspension if possible.

I haven't seen any. I thought I heard someone plumbing in aftermarket bags (inside coils) to to the compressor but that might have been on a 470. Those rear height sensors are used auto-leveling the HIDs and/LED headlights although "I think" only the passenger side one is used on models without air suspension.

I was browsing the Airbagman website and notice there is an upgraded kit for our Lexus that comes with the air suspension. These look like they retain the factory automatic leveling capability.

I will ask them more about this kit.

Good find on those... not sure they integrate with stock compressor but interested to hear about compatibility.
Not sure what the limits of the auto-leveling switches in rear are either. Go too high and you might break sensors.

nothing I'm aware of other than swapping in a new airbag.
I bookmarked this this video in case I ever need to tackle this job one day...
I coat my airbags with fluid film (when fully extended on Hi) 4 times a year to mitigate against the dry rot that is likely to occur with rubber if left int he same position and not exercised...
