Default Visor

Anyone else besides me find the visor in this truck lacking? When the sun is shining through the driver's side window and the visor is opened towards that side it doesnt completely block the top of the window letting some sun in. This is after extending out the smaller visor within the main one since there is a gap between the smaller visor and the top door frame.

i never had this problem with the gx470 which doesnt have a small visor insert but allows you to extend the larger visor out and position it to completely block your head from the sun.

Anyone know if there is an aftermarket solution?

I have been here for a while and don’t recalll this coming up. I don’t use my visors and I have side tinted windows and wear sunglasses when needed.
Do you have tinted windows? If not it maybe something to consider.

I've had tinted front windows before. In like it in the day but feel it's too dark at night.

I'm thinking exterior window visors will work.

In Asia countries, Tint front windows are very popular, nearly every car had tinted front windows. One way they have done is to leave a corner at front where rear view mirror area untainted at both sides (like a small triangle at bottom of A pillar) to improve night visibility. I have drove the car had front windows completely tinted and did feel it is a bit difficult to see, especially in dark situation and place like under ground parking garages. With the cut out improves a lot.

You can find piece of thin but plastic cut out the shape about 8-10” wide and wedge it against the window glass and the
inner frame.
Or get a pair here
