I installed it yesterday, it took about 45 minutes. Pretty easy, all I have to do now is aim it a little better...Great Cheap mod!

I used mine in real world conditions yesterday... even with just rain and dirt the camera lens was barely useable when needing to back up to one of my trailers. It took me a few seconds and thought.. "yeah... I installed a camera washer" :-)
Cleared it right up.

I ordered this 1 month ago and didn't receive it yet. How long should it take?

Took mine exactly 2 months they said it would take that long. The tracking didn't show anything really until it was time to show up.

The tracking they provided was very accurate. I used https://parcelsapp.com/en to track it easily.

I also just got mine about 2 weeks ago. It took a little over a month to get here, and the tracking link they sent was fairly accurate.

Now I’m waiting to install until I receive my small momentary switch to be able to pop the rear glass from the inside. That way I only should have to pull the hatch panels down once.

curious- what is the use case for when you have to pop the glass from the inside? Also how do you wire it?

thanks,

thanks,
I can think of 2 cases, and one of them being the situation I was in:
- you camp in the back and want to get out the back door, so popping the window is the easiest and reach out to open the door.

- you climb in the back to clean all the windows and shut the door behind you. Since you have kids seats or a dog barrier up, you have just locked yourself in the back with no quick way to get out and have to call your wife to come let you out.

I’ll let you figure out the specific case I was in

From what I have read, the button on the outside is only 2 wires, so tapping into them with a button on the inside isn’t difficult. It will only work when the rig is unlocked though. I’m not sure if you have your keys with you on the inside, but locked, if it will still work.
