Looking for a washer mod on the rearview camera of 2023 GX i found some for older models 2013-2018 not sure why they wouldn't work on 2023 but after contacting the seller, he confirmed no fit on 2023. Not sure what changed between the years, but I live in a snow country and a washer would come in handy. Anybody installed a washer on 2023?

 

they have aimable windshield washer nozzles. like 10$

 

ok, where and how would you install it?

 

amazon sells them. theres different types. you can get one you drill a small hole, mount it, run a hose from it to a tee in line with the rear wiper hose. the nozzles usually have a small brass orifice you can loosen and adjust.

Yes, i called them was told it does not fit 2022-2023

Unfortunately no which sucks as i live in a snow belt and i could use it for sure

Just because it looked no difference from the outside, the camera itself and mounting hardware, harnesses can be very much different behind. That is a common occurrence as manufacturer switch different suppliers from time to time.

 

I agree with you. I looked at the original backup cameras of models 2018 and 2022 and I see a big difference, which means the aftermarket bracket with washer for 2018 won't work for 2022-2023.
