275/65 18...Which Bolt (Wheel Well) Needs Addressing?
Hey folks, could use a little help. Next Tuesday I’m having new wheels and tires installed. I’m aware there “could” be the potential of the tire in this size to rub on a certain screw, but I’m not sure exactly which one. I’d like to go a head and address the issue before I go and have everything done. There’s seems to be some discrepancy in the OEM tire specs for the offset..some are 52, 35 and 25. I think I should be good to go with the Methods and an 18 offset. Any advice and help would be appreciated.

I thought it was inner bolt(s) of running board

I’m guessing this is the one?

Wouldn’t this setup rub on the outer fender as well since it is a 9” wide wheels with 275?
one member is running 265/60/17 on 17x8.5 with 0 zero offset and he is saying that it is very close to the fender. 9” with 16 offset is pretty much same as 8.5” with 0.

Anyone tried 275/65/18 ko2 on stock height/wheel?
Will 1.25/1.5 spacer solve the rubbing issue except for the bolt?

A spacer would more than likely make it rub more as it pushes the tire more outside the fender well. UCA contact isn't an issue with the above setup, with minimal rubbing occurring at fender liners etc. Pushing the wheel further out (with no lift) will move you closer to the Body Mount which is the main concern as that would require cutting of the frame.

There are a few guys running this exact setup with no issues aside from removing the bolt shown above. I plan to do the same soon. Also, adding wheel spacers will actually make the rubbing worse.
EDIT: Actually just got back from Discount Tire where I ordered 275/65r18 KO2s. DTD had an $80 promo right now and I also got them to throw in the certs for half price. Aside from waiting for an eBay promo, that seems to be about the cheapest I'll see. I debated endlessly between the KO2s and Falkens, but at the end of the day the KO2s have always been a solid tire. I've had Cooper AT/3s and XLTs on another truck and really like them, but they don't make the 275/65r18 4S in an LT or the XLT in the 275/65r18, so I was down to the KO2s or Falkens.

I'm getting my 275/65r18s installed this afternoon, so I'll post back after that. I have gone ahead and removed the bolt that everyone references and hope any massaging needed to the liners w/ a heat gun is at a minimum. I still have stock wheels and don't plan on any wheel spacers, so I'm not anticipating too much trouble, based on reports from others who have done this as well.
