Build quality and longevity
I知 thinking ahead. To those with 5+ year trucks, how do they ride? Are they as tight, quiet, and, solid as the day they rolled out of the factory. I知 keeping this rig for a long time and was wondering how it holds up to other rides I had. I know that some auto makers start to deteriorate after 3 years and sound way too old for their age.

Our 2013 with 84,000 miles on it still rides pretty much like new. No squeaks or rattles, solid and quiet. The interior is pretty beat up, but we don't baby it. It's my wife's daily driver aside from road trips. She plays tennis and wears sunscreen. The combination of sweat and sunscreen has really done a number on the leather. The painted interior surfaces in the front are also easily prone to scratching.

Expect better then average build quality and longevity as its the same basic vehicle since 2010. However your gonna be kidding yourself if you believe any vehicle will drive the same as the first day you drove it off the new dealer lot. Squeaks leather wear, rust etc all take a toll.

My 2011 drives great. But a couple years ago I drove a new GX and it was definitely a new car experience. As far as feel, tightness, etc, I'd say mine is at least 90%-95% of new. This is not like buying a Tahoe and it feels more and more like **** as the years go by.
That said, you should test drive any GX before you buy. When I bought mine, I test drove a few, and one was a real dog, in spite of the miles.

I got mine at about 4.5 years from new and 34K miles. Still fairly low mileage for a '12 at current 51K miles but leather is in really good shape and no shakes, creaks or rattles. I've put a few small scratches on outside and on front bumper though. I was on some washboard logging roads just last week and no sound from any interior trim. Definitely nice to know one can take dash and door covers off and still have silent interior.

My 2009 GX has 118k on it and I壇 pick that over any new American car all day long. No squeaks, raffles or noises of any kind. The ride is so smooth compared to anything else, except my newer GX. I love my 470, it still drives like a new car.

My 2008 GX has 114000 miles, no squeaks or rattles. Inside is dirty from the dog but cleans up nicely. It drives like brand new. I'm always telling my kids if you take care of your car, your car will take care of you. They roll their eyes but religiously service their cars. My son has my old 99 Land Cruiser with 160000 miles and my daughter has a 2004 Lexus RX with 130000 miles both vehicles run like new.
