They are both 315MHz units but the part number seem to be different from that site. Strange how there so many different units operating on the same frequency.

I have these 42607-06011. I bought used ones and they are also marked PMV-107J. It looks like it cross-reference to the part you listed above.

Compatibility might be with the valve stems and/or rims?

I think you are right. It may have to do with rims for low profile tires.

Just found out that the Wifi enabled ELM327 is no longer available from https://elm-327.eu/elm_wifi. They only have USB dongles

I emailed developer of OBD Fusion to see if they had any other recommended adapters. They had previously stated they were working with some companies on some firmware upgradeable units.

EDIT: Also inquired with EU vendor on whether they planned to carry adapters again in the future.

OBDFusion support claims this adapter now supports TPMS functionality.

https://www.obdsoftware.net/scantools/obdlinkmxplus

EDIT:

"The MX+ currently supports TPMS.

The OBDLink LX and OBDLink MX BT will support TPMS with a future update. We're hoping to release this update soon."

It's interesting, some folks are trying to disable TPMS monitoring, on the other hand some wants to retrofit after market monitor......

Frankly even in an aired down state I'd want to know PSI but that may just be me.

I've gotten over 10 years out the last set I replaced out of another car and they weren't even dead yet. This software and OBD adapter lets you read the stock sensor values beyond the simple dashboard TPMS light.

I ordered one of the adapters above and will report if it truly works as well. It is rather spendy compared to other options you will find out there as well as the original adapter I picked up.

Let us know how it works out. Bluetooth support for iOS is a big plus for that one.

Be careful with those valve stem sensors. I just ran a set this last winter on my snow tires on another car. I could only get 1 of 4 of them off. I had to Dremel off the retaining nut below the sensor. I guess in hindsight I should have just dedicated the sensors to the snow tires but too late now. I was planning to swap them back to my summers. The nut had corroded onto the valve stem. If you don't deal with a lot of rain or snow possibly a moot point.

Took my snows off GX today and reprogrammed TPMS sensors as well with TS.

while this looks like a good option it would be ideal to see PSI in real time shown in the available dash blank rather than opening an app. It would be nice if both were integrated.

Fingers crossed we will see that at some point. Hopefully something that doesn’t tie up the OBD port as well.
